At Tik Tak Childcare, we believe that how children learn is just as important as what they learn. That’s why we follow a values-based approach — where kindness, respect and curiosity guide not only our curriculum, but our daily interactions, environment and culture.

In a busy world full of fast-paced change, clear values provide children with a sense of stability, identity and purpose.

What is values-based education?

Values-based education places shared principles — like empathy, fairness, honesty or perseverance — at the heart of early years practice. Rather than being taught as separate topics, these values are:

Our core values at Tik Tak Childcare

As a private nursery in Milton Keynes, we’ve developed our own set of guiding values, inspired by our diverse community and early years philosophy. These include:
